Determination of Burnout Status and Professional Commitment of Nurses Caring for Patients Diagnosed with COVID-19 in a Training and Research Hospital

Aim: This research was conducted to determine the burnout status and commitment profession of nurses who provide care patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in a training hospital. Material Methods: The sample comprised 205 caring for patients. In collection data, “Descriptive Characteristics Form”, “Burnout Scale (BS)”, “Commitment Profession Nursing (NPCS)” were used. Results: Nurses' BS mean score 4.48±1.07, it determined that only 1% them did not experience burnout. It 36.6% at crisis level. average NPCS be 68.73±13.14. A significant difference found between scores total professional willingness make an effort, according number gave daily to. negative correlation levels nurses. Conclusion: almost all working pandemic service intensive units providing experienced burnout, their level above level, decreased as increased.
